| Description | The Box Z Longhorn Ranch is a working cattle ranch consisting of 310 acres of rolling hills. Our main focus is raising quality Registered Texas Longhorn cattle. We are located in Central Texas approximately 45 miles south of Austin and 60 miles east of San Antonio, Texas on the back roads between Lockhart & Luling. The small charming Texas towns of Lockhart & Luling have been the sites for several movies and commercials. Most recently, Box Z Ranch was the location site for the filming of a TV news magazine story by ARD TV from Germany. The property includes the main modern ranch house and pool, a quaint ranch style guest house and various barns/outbuildings in multiple stages of repair. The land areas include open pastures, wooded areas, areas with scattered trees and several ponds. We have multiple tractors and equipment on site. We maintain an average of one hundred Texas Longhorn cattle at any time. | ||||
